This course is designed for students developing a global perspective, actively communicating with people inside and outside of the country, and understanding diverse cultures and values.

Through readings and viewings, note- taking, reflective activities, and in-class discussions, you can analyze motivation and self-direction by studying ways to become more motivated while learning at university. This class is useful not only for English, but for any subject you learn with more confidence.

AEW1 Academic Essay Writing

You can research and write about current social, scientific, and global issues in English of your choice by taking notes and revising drafts for APA or MLA formatted research paper followed at international universities. Attention to IELTS test preparation will also be provided.


Tuesdays 1st

AEW2 Academic Essay Writing

This course helps you to research academic topics and write APA & MLA formatted papers. Building on the skills acquired in AEW1 in the previous year, attention is paid to research paper organization, standard citation systems, and use of academic English.
