How to create a webpage in Adobe Express

  1. Collect your content and images. There are some free images on the webpage site.
  2. Make a free Adobe Express account by using your Chuo University Gmail. In the second video at 1:30 it shows you have to create an account. Remember to use your Chuo Gmail.
  3. Click the purple + (plus) button in the upper left corner.
  4. Click on create new ‘Web page.’
  5. Add your title and subtitle by typing or cut/paste from your Google Doc.
  6. Change your theme by clicking on the upper right corner of the screen at ‘themes,’ ad drop down menu will appear with 13 choices.
  7. Add a background to add photos.
  8. Add text by scrolling down to the bottom of of the screen and there are seven different options. They are photo, text, button, video, photo grid, glideshow, and split layout. Please use text for your group writing in sections.
  9. Use one account for your group by clicking share and their Chuo Emails. Also include Stacey’s Chuo Gmail.
  10. Lastly, you can share link with Stacey at her Chuo email by December 27th and publish by January 15th before class.

Open Adobe Express

Create your webpage 

  1. On the homepage of Adobe Express, select  .
  2. In Create, select Webpage.
  3. Add title and subtitle to the webpage. Add Photo  , Short Cover  , and Split Layout  .
  4. Select Themes     to apply a theme and set Fonts and Styles for your webpage.
  5. Add PhotosVideosTextButtonsPhoto GridGlideshow, and Split layout to your webpage to make your brand pop.

  6. In the header, select the text box to rename the webpage name.Select Untitled text box to rename your pageSelect Text box to rename wepage
  7. Quickly perform the following actions when editing your webpage. : Undo your action. : Redo your action.  : Change the theme.  : Check the preview. : Present your webpage. 
  8. Once you complete your webpage, select Share > Publish to web > Create link to get a new, unique URL. 
     Note: If you edit your web page, republish it so that changes go live and the URL doesn’t change.

Tip: 

The Share tool can also generate a snippet of code that allows you to embed your new page into an existing website by pasting the code into your site files. 

Add different visual assets to your webpage

Establish a design theme for your webpage using photos, icons, logos, personalized fonts, and other customizable elements to make them feel entirely authentic. 

AssetsDescription
Photos  You can search for free photos from Adobe Stock or bring them in from your Libraries, Lightroom, Dropbox, Google Photos, and Google Drive. You can also add GIFs from Giphy or Tenor.
Text  Add your text and adjust the format and alignment. Assign H1 or H2 components to make a heading. You can also add hyperlinks to your text. 
Button  Add button text and assign a URL.
Videos  Add a YouTube video or Vimeo.
Photo grid  Add multiple photos to build your grid. You can move around the photos and adjust their size.
Glideshow  Upload photos, add text, block quotes, images, and more in a block component to give you a new way to tell your story.
Split layout  You can split your webpage into two halves by selecting Split layout. Once done, add photos, text, buttons, and videos.
