Mondays 3rd Period

This course will further develop your confidence in communicating actively in English. Working in cycles of 4-6 weeks, you will use English to learn about social, political, legal, and global issues of interest to you. In the first part of the course, you will raise your ability to research and understand issues. You will also improve your ability to explain, give presentations on, and discuss your research in pairs and small groups. In the second part of the course, you will further develop these abilities, choosing issues of interest to research and discuss in pairs and small groups. この授業では積極的に英語でコミュニケーション を行なう自信をさらに高めることを目的とする。4-6週間の単位で、興味をもった社 会、政治、法律およびグローバルな問題について、英語で学ぶ。前半では、様々な問 題について英語で調べ、理解する能力を高める。さらにペアや少人数のグループで、 調べたことに関して説明し、プレゼンテーションをして、ディスカッションする能力を培 う。後半ではこの能力をさらに発達させ、ペアや少人数のグループで課題を選び、調 べ、議論する。
