Session 05: Find Your Creative Flow

Summary: I am happier this morning about your efforts. Seven out of the ten students did their homework. Although four of the seven students' note-taking matrix (NTM) was a little short, I will accept the homework because your notes are fantastic. Remember, the longer NTM entries you write, the easier it is to write your report. Then, the report becomes your script for your presentation and the presentation will seem like it makes itself:).

Homework due on Tuesday 05/19/2020 at 4 PM:

1. Complete an entry or more of self-study in your Four-Skills Log. The entry should be one hour in length or longer and please answer the questions completely:

Which day, which practice task, and how long?  Reflections: What did you do? How long for? What did you notice? How did you feel? New speaking or listening goals?

2. Please view and take two pages of notes on

Csikszentmihalyi, M. (2004, February). Flow, the secret to happiness [Video]. TED Conferences.

Please use the attached Word document below, to insert your photos in this ONE doc.

3. Please type your highlights in your Note-Taking Matrix and cut and paste the Csikszentmihalyi (2004, February) in section 2 above.

That means you send me two or three documents. This will make writing your report so easy! I do not want to waste your time.
