Summary: We did three different activities. One was announcements, the second one was a group Santa quiz research game, and the third was checking the TOEIC Part 5 B mini-test answers and confirming the parts of speech.

Homework due on 12/13/2018: 

1. After studying the TOEIC tips unit 6 at the outer columns of the text, take the please do Mini-Test B, Unit 20, p. 106-108:  Text Completion section from numbers 1 to 12, by keeping the TOEIC Tips for part 6 in mind. Then write down your reflections in  your Listening and Reading Log for entry #2 in this format:

Plan: Which day, which practice task and how long?  Reflections: What did you do? How long for? What did you notice? How did you feel? New listening or reading goals?

TOEIC  TEST  Tips Part 6 (by Grant Trew):

• Choose the correct verb form
• Sometimes the sentence is not enough information to choose the right answer. In that case, read the rest of the text to find your answer.
• Learn suffixes to help you identify the adjectives and adverbs
• Understand the use of comparatives and superlative form of adjectives.
