Session 12 on 12/22/2015: Researching and Formatting Your Self-Talk Reflection Report APA Style

Summary: There were a number of announcements, such as the quarter system, our winter vacation schedule, and your portfolio feedback. Afterwards as I checked your homework, you got into small groups and pairs to discuss the research you read. I was impressed by your reading choices. Then, we discussed the setting up of your homework, and you wrote reflections about this class. Have a Happy New Year!

Homework due on 1/12/2016:

1. Categorise your research notes that you want to use in your APA style reflection report and design a 'Mind Map,' similar to the mind-map you made for your presentations, yet you will be adding the resources you read during the past two weeks. Please write key words only on the page of an A3 size sheet of paper with in-text citations (Author's Last Name, Year of Publication). Samples of former students exceptional "Mind Maps" will also be provided to view in class. If you are absent from class, these A3 sheets of paper are available on my office door.

2. Option to complete an entry of self-study in your Four-Skills Log if you have not already. The entry should be one hour in length or longer and please answer the questions completely: 

Which day, which practice task and how long?  Reflections: What did you do? How long for? What did you notice? How did you feel? New speaking or listening goals?
