Class 06:

Summary:
We discussed flow through an all class and pairwork activities about how "flow" is related to creativity and the input discovery skills. Then we reviewed the discovery skills and from the readings in pairs and the whole class as well. You reflected on what skills you are good at and what skills are somewhat new to you. Listening to your observations about yourself was interesting!

Homework due on 05/25/2020:

1. Complete an entry or more of self-study in your Four-Skills Log. The entry should be one hour in length or longer, and please answer the questions thoroughly:

Which day, which practice task, and how long?  Reflections: What did you do? How long for? What did you notice? How did you feel? New speaking or listening goals?

2. Please read and take about four pages of notes in keywords only in Chapter 1 The DNA of Disruptive Innovators and Chapter 4 Discovery Skill #3 Observing in:

Dyer, J., Gregersen, H., & Christensen, C. (2011). Innovator's DNA: Mastering the five skills of disruptive innovators. Boston:

    Harvard Business School Press.

Then enter this chapter in your Note-taking Matrix (NTM). Then, please also take the Discovery and Delivery Skills Quiz: What's Your Profile on pages 38 to 40. We will try to take the Quiz in Polls on Zoom or Survey Monkey on May 25th, 2020! Survey Monkey might be better because we can see the class results and have some data if you would like to observe the class.
