Session 05: Mind Mapping Your Research into Categories & Slideshow design Summary: I explained step by step how to present your research, which is also available in the attachment below. Subsequently, you spoke about your research with your pair and got feedback, and then you wrote reflections about your learning. Attachment: ACS1b Criteria for Assessment.docx Homework for 06/30/2016: 1. It works well at this stage of research to categorise your research notes on your 5 or 6 Internet, book, newspaper and/or magazine articles about your issue from your notes on the four articles, and design 'Slideshow' version of your notes using the key words only on the page of an A3 size sheet of paper received in class. Samples of former students exceptional "Mind Maps" will also be provided in class. If you are absent, these A3 sheets of paper are available on my office door. 2. Please do bring your computer to class on July 5th, 2016 for slideshow making, and possibly learning some new computer tricks. 3. Option to do an entry in your Speaking & Listening Logs if you have not completed the 20 hours of study. As you know, the entry should be one hour in length or longer and please answer the questions completely: Which day, which practice task, and how long? Reflections: What did you do? How long for? What did you notice? How did you feel? New speaking or listening goals? |
