Session 8 on 11/24/2015: Slideshow Design and Preparing for Your Presentation

Summary: In class today, I was happy to be able to speak with each of you about your research proposal of your upcoming presentation and give some suggestions. Moreover, I have attached some APA in-text citation (formatting) guidelines and your APA references page where you can download and drag the slide to your own slideshow. Lastly, you reflected on the class.

Homework due on 11/27/2015 (Friday) and 12/01/2015:

1. For presenters on 12/01/2015, try to do your best preparing for your presentation on December 1st. Please email me your powerpoint presentation drafts by Friday, 11/27/2015 at 1pm and I will return your revised draft as soon as possible. After receiving my feedback, please amend and have the final clean version of your slideshow ready for Tuesday the 1st. 

For presenters on 12/08/2015, some of you need to catch up with finishing up the homework that was due on 11/24/2015 and all four students should continue to work on your slideshow.

2. Option to complete an entry of self-study in your 4-skills logs. The entry should be one hour in length or longer and please answer the questions completely:

Which day, which practice task and how long?  Reflections: What did you do? How long for? What did you notice? How did you feel? New speaking or listening goals?

3. Please come to the ERC on 12/01/2015 at 10:30am to set up your presentations with your computer that you will not forget to bring:).
